For Those Below

Let your soul stand cool and composed before a million universes.

I was at the beach recently with my friends, and I remembered an adaptation I made of a line from William Goldman’s “The Princess Bride” around two years ago. Towards the end of chapter one, Buttercup asks Westley if he loves her. And so Westley says, “Do I love you? My God, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches…”
Then I realized that only God could love so much. So I thought, “If my love were a grain of sand, God’s love would be a universe of beaches!”
